Magazine 2003
Magazine course meets fortnightly to read and discuss English language contemporary art magazines, newspapers and web news. The aim of the course is to use and become accustomed to English in discussing art topics. The texts are selected by the course tutor, Roger McDonald, and span up to date news items to more in depth articles on artists and theories. Photocopies of the texts are handed out each session and discussed together in an informal atmosphere. This is a popular course, attended by students as well as working people, who wish to improve their English abilities whilst learning about contemporary art issues from around the world.
