Artist 2003
Artist course is a three month intensive course aimed at artists. Its main direction is to expand the ways in which artists can present their works and understand their practice within a broader international discourse of contemporary art. In this programme the emphasis is not on studio practice but rather on how we can approach and think about art works. The course is offered three times during 2002. 11 students enrolled in the winter course. 7 students are enrolled in the spring course currently.
Course structure:
Making a portfolio and presentation skills.
Introduction to Postmodern ideas.
English art terminologies.
Recent tendencies and approaches to thinking about contemporary art.
Mapping the Art scene.
Students individual presentations in front of guest arts professionals.

Reference library:
Students have access to our extensive reference library containing artists monographs, group exhibitions catalogues, international exhibition catalogues and related archives.
